History

Juliette et Justine launched in 2001.[1] The brand name is derived from two novels by Marquis de Sade: Justine and Juliette.
In 2012 they were invited to an event in London and held a fashion show there.[1] In 2013, they attended Anime North in Canada and produced a guided catalog in Rotenburg with the German Tourism Board.[1] In 2014, they attended events in the United States and Spain.[1] In 2015, they held a special exhibition at the Honolulu Museum of Art.[1] The returned to the US for a fashion show in 2016, and traveled to the Netherlands and Shanghai in 2017.[1] In 2018, they attended events in Paris, France as well as Guangzhou, China.[1] In 2019, the held a tea party in Shanghai, China.[1]
