Lace Market is an English language platform for secondhand lolita sales. To date (as of Aug 11, 2021) the site has hosted over 230,000 sales listings.

History

Lace Market was launched to the public in January 2016 after a two-week limited beta period. On January 17, 2014, livejournal user lacemarket posted to the EGL livejournal community to announce the site's launch:

"The concept of Lace Market is really quite simple, it's a Ebay-like market for the sales of Lolita Clothing. It has sizing, color, brand and location/region filters for easier searching, and also allows for the creation of both Auction-style, Buy it Now or Combination listings. Payment is not handled through the site itself, but allows buyers and sellers to easily view Paypal addresses for quick invoicing." [1]

In August 2016, the site migrated to the Circlly marketplace domain and began to add sister marketplaces such as Kei Market, in the interests of reducing the amount of non-lolita listings appearing on the main site[2]. As of August 2021, the following sister marketplaces exist on Circlly:
