Perla Nell' Ostrica was founded in February 2019, and their initial items had a retro-influenced sort of look.[2][3][4]
December 1st 2021, Perla Nell' Ostrica announced that they would be rebranding and launching their S/S 2022 with a former Shirley Temple designer working as their designer.[2] [1] They stated that "this time, Perla Nell' Ostrica is Aiming to be a brand that will be loved for a long time. We are pleased to inform you that rebranding has started."[1]
