Princess Doll is a long-standing Japanese indie brand featured in the Gothic Lolita Bible.

Concept

The brand concept is stated as:

I had the idea that all girls should be princesses. An original brand with the concept of making clothes with a sense of mode in a classical atmosphere.[1]

History

Princess Doll established their website September 14th, 2004.[2][3] The brand was featured in the Gothic Lolita Bible, volume 21.[4] Princess doll provided a costume for Triple H-sama in Mawaru Penguindrum.[1] Princess Doll's clothing was worn by Luna Haruna on the cover of the June 2013 issue of Kera.[1] Luna Haruna also wore a limited edition Princess Doll jacket on the cover of her 3rd single "Kimi ga Kureta Sekai".[1] Princess Doll also did costuming for the live event for Aoi Kirayuki in "Senki Zessho Symphogear G". The designer Aya was part of the Kera party 2014 Guest Show & Talk Show, and gave a special summer seminar lecture at Ueda Yasuko Fashion College in Osaka in 2014.[1]

Princess Doll was featured in the CUTiE special edition Romantic Interior BOOK and the Gothic Lolita Bible volume 55 (as well as several earlier volumes).[1]

On March 28th, 2015 the princess doll head office opened. [1]
