History
In collaboration with Laforet Harajuku Co., LTD.[1], Hyper Hyper Co., LTD. (株式会社ハイパーハイパー) was established April, 1987 as a subsidiary of Gim Co., LTD. (株式会社ジム).[2][3] In 1990, they opened their first Putumayo shop in Laforet Harajuku. The Putumayo online shop followed shortly after, opening in August of 2000.[2]

PUTUMAYO has been proposing fashion based on its own concept for about 30 years, and we have decided to discontinue the brand in anticipation of market trends this time.
The PUTUMAYO online shop has December 10, 2017,
PUTUMAYO Shinjuku Marui annex store has closed January 28, 2018 and has closed its business.
