Not every indie brand has enough Lolibrary entries/info to warrant its own page and that's okay! This page will serve as a general indie brand directory for information on smaller indie brands, sorted by region. To keep this as an up-to-date directory, only active brands should be included in the main sections here; an appendix at the bottom will serve as the location for closed/defunct indie brands for archival purposes. Please refer to the Adding an Indie Brand guidelines section below before editing this page; thank you!^[1]

L'Esprit de la Noblesse

Made and owned by Nicolas and Elizabeth Daiglere. They describe their brand as follows:

"While creating clothes and accessories we are inspired by the aesthetics of past centuries, history and literature, as well as prominent historical figures and events. We believe that clothing is a great way to express yourself and your take on the world, as well as to bring a little bit of beauty in it. At the same time, each collection we release carries a certain idea and sometimes touches on very serious topics: the relationship between life and death, the importance of health, the desire to show strength, topics of struggle and independence."^[3]

American Duchess is based out of Reno, Nevada, USA. The founders Chris and Lauren who previously ran a historical costuming blog started the shoe brand with a mission to create historically accurate footwear for costumers.^[7]

Atelier Sucré

Atelier Sucré is a small independent Lolita fashion brand that is based in Southeastern New England. They describe their brand as follows: "Our two-person workshop creates each item by hand, and we pride ourselves on quality workmanship, strong attention to detail, and the use of locally-sourced material.
