Girlism

Girlism (GIRLISM, Simplified Chinese: 少女主义, Japanese: 少女主義) is a fully color Chinese lolita fashion magazine/mook. Each issue features glossy full color pages with photos of new releases from popular Chinese brands as well as some information about new releases from Japanese brands, makeup / hair styling tips and street/reader snaps.

Most issues come with gifts like fold out posters and post cards from Japanese and Chinese brands. Readers who order early often get more elaborate gifts like tote bags, small purses, stationary sets, clear files, or even makeup.

History

Girlism is published by the Gothic Lolita Union of China, and the first issue was published in 2015.. Volumes 2 through 12 were published through their taobao store, while the 13th was listed on their Japanese site. The 12th issue was published in November 2019.
