Do you have a physical archive of items?

Lolibrary is primarily a digital archive. While many of our lolibrarians have personal collections of lolita fashion which they wear, we do not have any sort of central archival program for physical clothing. We do not accept donations of physical items.

Where can I buy these items?

Most items listed in lolibrary are limited edition items from boutiques or individual designers. If the item is recent, we recommend checking the website for the brand. For items that are sold out, secondhand sites, auctions and thrift stores are recommended. We are only an information archive and do not have any items for sale.

I own an item not listed in lolibrary, is it fake?

We are a crowd sourced resource, and most of our information is not directly submitted by the designers of the items. Therefore, it is totally possible for there to be gaps in our archives. We recommend posting to our item identification area in discord if you have an item you can't find in the archive.

Do you authenticate items?

We do not professionally authenticate items. Users on our discord can give you unofficial opinions based on personal knowledge, but we suggest asking the brand directly, or a professional authentication service if you need an official verdict.

My photo was used without permission, how can I get it taken down?

First of all, our apologies, this shouldn't have happened, but occasionally photos borrowed from sales listings and wardrobe posts slip through as we are a crowd sourced archive. Please see Lolibrary Entries - Submitting Corrections and submit your request via the "Other" option. Please allow some time for a human to review and remove the image.

Can you add stock information (in stock / sold out) to lolibrary?

All of our entries are made manually by volunteers and tracking live stock information would effectively require at least one person physically checking item stock all day every day which is not feasible. Because of this, we are not currently pursuing this.
