Mariko Suzuki () was born on May 25th in Aichi Prefecture Japan. She is best known for her work as editor for Kera magazine and the Gothic & Lolita Bible.
Life and Career
After she graduated from the liberal arts department of Aoyama Gakuin Women's Junior College she went into magazine and book publishing. in 1982 she joined Kadokawa as part of the editorial department for "The Television". In 1997, she joined bauhaus "BiDaN", and in 1998 she launched the magazine Kera as the editor. She launched the Gothic & Lolita Bible as the editor in 2000, and Kera Maniax in 2003. In 2014 she left to pursue freelance work. She then worked on projects like Lolicate (maps), "Lolita's pilgrimage Notebook in Tokyo" (Jutsugyo no Nishonsha), Steampunks Japan complete equipment (Mynavi), Eternita (Takarajimasha), Jabberwocky, and multiple books on art.[1]
