Art-Loli (アートロリ), which is short for Artistic Lolita, was a term used to describe looks from the Brilliant Star event in 2014 and by Style Arena for OTT or avant garde coordinates around that time. [1][2] The idea was basically that these outfits toed the line between clothing and performance art. The term never really caught on in the west, with OTT Classic being used instead most of the time.
