Akira was born on February 15th in Chiba, Japan.[1][2] She is best known in lolita circles for her modeling work for Kera and Baby the Stars Shine Bright. Outside of lolita, she is best known as the lead singer of the band Disacode.
Life and Career
Akira was born in Chiba, Japan. At 18 she enrolled at the Japanese women's college, Ferris University.[1] She later graduated from Vantan in fashion.[2][3] She made her debut as a model for Kera magazine in 2008.[2] In a 2011 Q&A she stated that her favorite brands were Algonquins, Sexpot, Superlovers, Monomania, Galaxy, and Hellcat Punks.[4]
In February 2016, she launched her own fashion brand Malus14.[2]
On March 21st, 2019 she got married.[5] Her husband is not in the entertainment industry so when she posts photos with him, she obscures his face. In January 2021, her first child, a son, was born.[6]
Disacode
Disacode was initially launched under the name Akira with Tetrahaze in 2008.[1] In 2014, the band sang the opening song for the anime Black Butler: Book of Circus.

Founded in 2016.[2]
