History

In April 2016, Hiroko Tokumine showed a bridal collection at the JFW-IFF (JFW International Fashion Fair) at Tokyo Big Sight.[6] The dresses shown were available for rental or could be purchased as made to order dresses. They also clarified on instagram that they could be rented for photoshoots and other events in addition to wedding use.[7]
Their first fashion show was in June 2016 as part of the bridal industry fair.[8] They were also featured in the magazine Wedding BOOK. [9]
In July of 2016, they teased on instagram that they would be launching a lolita line and that they were looking for names. [10] The next week they announced the name as marcHenTic and stated the website would be live and taking orders starting at 18:00 on July 22nd 2016.[11] Their first dress was limited to 50 copies, sizes S, M & L with other sizes possibly being available on request.
The brand logo was created by Yuko Iwanaga, who focused on "gorgeousness" when creating the desing. The heart, flowers and bird are hand drawn and asymetric.[12] Yuko Iwanaga also designed the initial website. [12]
The brand was featured in GLB volume 61.[13]
In august 2016, they started an amblo blog.[14]

Tips for Identifying Pieces
As always, we recommend searching Lolibrary first both by item number and by any relevant tags/features. If neither of these bring up the item, the following are some tips for researching the mystery item, though you are always welcome to ask for assistance in the Lolibrary Discord, or the EGL Research Center or What is that dress? Facebook groups as well.
