IAAZAJ Textiles first started in 1957 with knit dyeing, warp knitting, twining and sock manufacturing.[6] In 1970 they established Established Daiichi Amimono Co., LTD which specialized in knit dyeing.[6] In 1977 they started printing fabric, and in 1987 they had the largest width printed fabric on the market in Japan. In 1989 their fabric dying business expanded with Aizetto Co., LTD.[6] Over the 1990s and early 2000s, they aquired several pieces of specialized equipment for producing knits and printing fabrics, and expanded their offerings in those areas.[6]

In 1990 they broke into the personal color system industry with the establishment of Art Joy. [6]

In 2014, they established IAAZAJ Holdings Co., Ltd.

In 2017, they entered the garment sewing industry with the aquisition of ST Sewing Co., Ltd, and in 2018 they expanded with the aquisition of Motai Sangyo Co., Ltd.

In 2019, they aquired MK Co., Ltd., and entered the apparel industry.[6]
