Corset/Bustier

A corset is a tube-shaped garment worn around the waist/chest. Corsets typically contain boning, a thin stick of stiff, structural material that gives them shape. Corsets also often have lacing, like an athletic shoe, used to tighten them to the wearer's body. Corsets can be functional (used to help define the waist) or decorative and can be worn over or under other clothing. Depending on the brand, a bustier can be simply a corset that covers and defines the bust, or it can be more like a stand alone JSK bodice. Bustiers which resemble JSK bodices are typically worn over a blouse / skirt or OP.
