Miho Matsuda (Designer)

Designer Miho Matsuda attended Kansai Women's Art Junior College and then graduated from Osaka Mode Gakuen's Design Department. She worked for Tokyo Style, and then became a designer for cantwo.

After leaving cantwo in Tokyo, she went back to Osaka and got a part time job as a designer in a shoe store in America Mura. Her unique shoes became huge hits. in 1997 she established her own brand, MIHO MATSUDA, to sell her shoes and opened a store in America Mura.

In 1998 she opened stores Shibuya and Nagoya PARCO, bringing MIHO MATSUDA up to almost 10 directly managed stores, but in 1999, the business went bankrupt and closed.
