After she graduated from the liberal arts department of Aoyama Gakuin Women's Junior College she went into magazine and book publishing. in 1982 she joined [[Kadokawa]] as part of the editorial department for "The Television".  In 1997, she joined bauhaus "BiDaN", and in 1998 she launched the magazine Kera as the editor. She launched the [[Gothic & Lolita Bible]] as the editor in 2000, and [[Kera Maniax]] in 2003. In 2014 she left to pursue freelance work.
