Girlism is a fully color Chinese lolita fashion magazine/mook. Each issue features glossy full color pages with photos of new releases from popular Chinese brands as well as some information about new releases from Japanese brands, makeup / hair styling tips and street/reader snaps. [1]

Most issues come with gifts like fold out posters and post cards from Japanese and Chinese brands. Readers who order early often get more elaborate gifts like tote bags, small purses, stationary sets, clear files, or even makeup.[1]

History

Girlism is published by the Gothic Lolita Union of China, and the first issue was published in 2015.[2]

Shop

Girlism also operates an online shop aimed at Japanese lolita to help them order from Chinese brands.[3] According to their about section, they work with over 100 different Chinese brands. They list some of the most notable as:[3]

For orders over 30,000yen (~$200 USD), they offer free shipping to Japan. They also will sell items to people outside of Japan/China, however they do not offer free shipping.[3]
