Influence/Legacy
In an unofficial poll of Japanese lolita in late 2005, Misako was voted as the favorite Kera reader model with 13% of the vote.[5]
She coined the term Soft Lolita (ソフトロリータ) in her "Lolita Fashion Book" in 2014 to refer to wearing items from brands like Jane Marple, Emily Temple Cute and MILK in a casual way.[6] Misako Aoki considers her daily clothes when she's not modeling to fall into the Soft Lolita category.[6]
